Clean Up Australia Day
Scout Groups across Australia have supported the nation's largest community-based environmental event - Clean Up Australia Day - since its commencement in 1990. The flagship Clean Up Australia Day Event is held each year on the first Sunday of March, though a Clean Up Australia event can be held at any time of year! Clean Up Australia Day inspires and empowers communities, schools and businesses to clean up, fix up and conserve their local environment. The event has grown to become the nation’s largest environmental community participation event.
This year Clean Up Australia Day was on Sunday, 4 March 2012.
To find out more about next year's Clean Up Australia Day go to the website on http://www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au or call 1800 282 329.
