Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation

SIS30413
Most people completing specific adventurous activities courses in Scouting should enrol directly into that activity area using the Unit only Enrolment for Outdoor Recreation.

The Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation is a nationally recognised qualification which provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in guiding outdoor recreation activities in a controlled environment. It requires technical knowledge of the outdoor recreation activity to be transferred to allow individuals to safely participate in the outdoor activity.
There are multiple activity streams and learning pathways in Scouts Australia that provide learning and experiences that align closely and will provide most of your evidence towards meeting the requirements of the Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation. Further information is available in the Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation Candidate Information.
