Here at Scouts Australia, we have compiled a range of programs and resources to support Scouting as we work through the different phases of community and social distancing, and self-isolation.
This year we are going to participate in ANZAC Day differently but just as meaningfully. We have no public events to attend, nor can we meet together as Units or Groups, however, we can still participate in the Remembrance ceremony from home.
There are many great initiatives by other Scouting members and the RSL which you may chose to take part in. These add to the ideas already circulated. This resource, provided by Jane Hamilton from Hampton Park Scout Group, Scouts WA, outlines what you can do in the lead-up and on ANZAC Day.
Discuss with your leaders what they would like you to do. Some suggestions are:
