Ezgi began her Scouting journey as a Cub Scout in Victoria and progressed through the Scout, Venturer Scout, and Rover Scout sections.
In early 2021, Ezgi completed a two-year term as Chair of the National Rover Council, and greatly valued this opportunity to provide leadership as a youth member at the national level. Having served previously on the National Youth Council and Victorian State Youth Council, Ezgi remains passionate about elevating young people’s voices in decision making at all levels of the organisation.
In her local Scout Group, she has been an adult leader in all sections, and is currently working with both the Joey Scout and Venturer Scout Units, where she is motivated by working with youth members to own their Scouting experience. In 2019, Ezgi took a lead role in introducing her Scout Group to the new Scouts Australia program.
Outside of Scouting, Ezgi works in commercial construction management.
Ezgi has experienced the positive impact of Scouting, and is excited to contribute at the national level to help grow and develop Scouting for young people across Australia.
