Scouts Australia will join the World Scout Conference in August online and we are seeking expressions of interest from those aged between 16 – 30 who are interested in joining the delegation.

If you’re interested in governance, international relations, development and process at a global level or simply want to gain experience in these areas, tell us why you’re interested and why you should be part of the Scouts Australia Delegation.

The World Scout Conference is being held 17 -23 August 2024. The Australian Delegation will be joining the Conference online from Perth, Western Australia to better manage time zones and productivity. The costs of the Delegation meeting in Perth will be covered however, please consider this when applying to accommodate school/further study, professional/work and other commitments.

Being a member of the Scouts Australia Delegation to the World Scout Conference can be a challenging and rewarding experience. There will be significant pre work and meetings to prepare the Delegation for the conference and the topics and items that may arise. Should you be successful in being chosen to join the Delegation, you will need to prioritise this work and these meetings in the lead up to the Conference.
