Scouts Australia adopted a new Strategic Plan in late 2023, and over the last twelve months, work has been occurring to form project teams and identify champions to ensure the delivery of the plan. The plan is focussed on the ongoing sustainability and impact of the Scout movement within Australia. One element of Scouts Australia’s Strategic Plan is entirely focussed on volunteering and volunteering models.
Scouts Australia is very keen to listen to you and continually improve how we offer Scouting. This research seeks to understand the current experience of Scouts stakeholders in relation to volunteering and aims to gather feedback on a proposed new model.
We have engaged McCrindle, an independent research organisation, to conduct this research. McCrindle brings expertise in volunteering as well as the broader trends shaping society. McCrindle has been a long-time partner of Scouts, having worked with our organisation in 2014 to understand stakeholder and national perceptions towards Scouting in Australia. They are excited to take on the challenge of capturing your sentiment to help inform our new volunteering model to support our volunteers.
The survey will be open from the 28 February to 21 March and will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. The survey will be completely anonymous so please share your open and honest feedback. This will allow us to create a model that best meets the needs of our stakeholders, setting a solid foundation for the future of Scouts Australia.
We greatly appreciate your involvement in this research!
