From high-energy activity zones to hands-on discovery experiences, Cub Scouts embraced every moment, scaling new heights, making a splash in aquatic activities and diving into STEM. The program also introduced exciting offsite adventures, giving participants the chance to explore environmental conservation at the Boondall Wetlands as well as engaging in some of Queensland’s history at the QLD Air museum and take to the air for a joy flight over Caloundra and truly “shake up” their journey. Cuboree is a milestone experience for many young people with it often their first extended time away from home.

Cuboree 2026 would not have been possible without the incredible support of more than 400 adult volunteers who dedicated their time, energy and expertise to the event. From delivering activities and managing logistics to supporting subcamps and ensuring the wellbeing of every participant, their contribution was felt in every corner of camp. Through their guidance and encouragement, these volunteers created a safe and supportive environment where young people were empowered to step outside their comfort zones, take on new challenges and shape their own unique adventure.
