Adult Recognition Award (ARA) Nominations 2027
Please note there are some exciting changes to the ARA process this year as we move towards a digitised version of both the ARA nomination form, branch approval process and decoration ordering.
As this is the first time, we are introducing the new digital process, we will be undertaking a soft launch, with a phased approach. This means some branches will be using the new digital process, while others will continue to follow the traditional process for this year.

Some things to note when using the digital form:
- It is a good idea to gather all the required information and supporting details beforehand (e.g. formation and appointment details) to ensure you have everything ready before commencing.
- It’s recommended to draft your responses to each question in a separate document (e.g. MS Word) before starting the application, as the form does not allow you to save your progress or return to a draft.
- Please also be mindful of the word limits specified for relevant questions on the form. These must be met before you can submit your application. See hint sheet for word counts

Please note: For the higher awards – Page one of the National ARA Form (key member data) must be replicated to look exactly like the 2027 form provided (no other layout will be acceptable).
This page is critical for the due diligence completed at a National level and needs to be consistent across all branches for review/approval.
