We’ve opened up another survey for our Scouting members to have their say. This one looks at the Age Ranges and Sections of Scouting.
After some early research during Stage 3, the YPR is now taking a critical look at the age range of the full youth program, and at the way in which it is divided into developmental sections. We are gathering detailed information from the experiences of other countries, reading reseaech papers, picking through WOSM documentation, looking at membership trends, and now, seeking the thoughts of our membership Australia-wide.
This survey asks for your thoughts on a number of issues presented as statements. Do you agree or disagree with each one? Do you see them as important considerations, or unimportant?
Take your time with this survey, there is lots to think about!
Leaders and parents of younger members – we would love for our younger members to have a say too. If you can, please help them to access this survey – they will be presented with questions designed for a younger age group.
This survey has now closed. Thank you to all who participated. To find out the results, go to the Scouts Australia Youth Program Review.
