You might have also heard, AJ2019 will celebrate the launch of the new youth program! It’ll be your first hand, exclusive experience on how our new youth program will look, feel and sound into the future of Australian Scouting.

The 25th National Australian Scout Jamboree is on from the 4th to 13th January 2019 at the brand new $100 million Bend Motorsport Park at Tailem Bend, the Murraylands, South Australia. To be able to attend the Jamboree, Scouts must be under 15 years of age as at 4th January 2019.

Applications to attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree in North America to be held in mid 2019 are now open!

The World Jamboree provides an international Scouting experience for Scout and Venturer section-aged youth. Unlike any Jamboree you’ve experienced before, you will join over 50,000 Scouts and Venturers from over 180 different countries.

Held at The Summit Bechtel Reserve, North America’s high adventure activity park, not only will you get to experience the amazing cultural experiences of a World Jamboree, you will also have access to an amazing range of high adventure activities all whilst making new mates from around the world!

Compared to an Australian Jamboree, a World Jamboree provides opportunities for older youth members to experiencce this different dimension of Scouting. Eligible Scouts must be born between 2 August 2001 and 21 July 2005 inclusive (i.e. minimum age 14 years and not have had your 18th Birthday).

Start your application now, as they close on 30 November 2017. Youth member places for both the Jamboree and optional Canadian post tour will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t delay in securing your spot on this trip of a lifetime!
