In September’s National News we advised all LBPS members of our commitment of $30,000 to support disadvantaged Australian youth members who need financial assistance, to attend the 17th Australian Venture to be held in Queensland in January 2018.

Following this commitment, we need to urgently rebuild our Jamboree Fund in preparation for the Australian Jamboree in 2019. We are keen to send as many disadvantaged Australian youth to the Jamboree as we can, and have a target of $100,000 to help those who cannot attend without financial support.

We urge all supporters of Scouting to consider contributing to the Fund. Can you help with whatever amount you can afford, and help us reach our target to send disadvantaged Scouts on an unforgettable experience that will also help their personal development.
