National Youth Council

As Scouts, we’re committed to ending poverty, protecting the planet and helping to create a better world. To help us achieve this, the Scouts Australia National Youth Council (NYC) has launched a new initiative to help all Australian Youth Members to become familiar with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The Scouts Australia Creative Media and Design Festival (CMD) is running now and finishes on the 30th of November 2017. You’re invited to submit a creative piece of work which connects, supports and promotes any of the 17 UN SDG’s and the #knowyourgoals campaign.

With an emphasis on creativity, entries can be in many formats including photos, short stories, posters, short films, videos, graphic designs, handcrafts and much more! More information on the Competition Guidelines and details can be found on the NYC website, and entries should be submitted through the online form or emailed to knowyourgoals@nyc.scouts.com.au. Submit your entry before 30th November to be in the running for great prizes!
