Rover Scouts celebrate 100 years worldwide in 2018. Rover Scouts were first mentioned by Baden-Powell in 1918 in The Boy Scouts Headquarters Gazette. More information on the Rover Scout Centenary can be found in the Rovers100 Crew Resource Pack.
In addition, Scouts around the country acknowledged Founders Day in a variety of ways, many recognising that Australia has a proud history of Scouting. Australia was one of the first nations to adopt the Movement from its start in 1907, with the earliest Australian Groups commencing in 1908.
To help commemorate Founders Day, Scout Shop has produced a souvenir camp blanket badge. Purchase your BP Portrait Badge at Scout Shop.
