Kirsty Brown Receives Silver Elephant
Congratulations to Kirsty Brown on receiving the Silver Elephant, an award presented by the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
The Award was presented at the APR Scout Committee and Heads of Delegation meeting at the 26th Asia Pacific Regional Scout Conference, October 2018 as Kirsty was unable to go to Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi last December to receive it from the President.
The Silver Elephant Award is the highest award given by the in recognition of service of most exceptional character to the Movement.
This service includes being a member of the APR Scout Committee, Vice Chairman and now as Consultant to the Asia Pacific Regional Scout Committee and the Bharat Scouts and Guides over many many years. Additionally, Kirsty is Chairman of the World Honours and Awards Committee.
Kirsty is also a Life Member of Scouts Australia, Life Member of Queensland Branch, and Immediate Past Chief Commissioner – Queensland.
