Honouring Our People

Mr Neil Westaway AO

The Lord Baden-Powell Society would like to acknowledge the Queen’s Birthday Honours this year, paid tribute to one of our long-standing Members of the Lord Baden-Powell Society and former Chairman of the Lord Baden-Powell Society, Mr. Neil Westaway AO.   

Mr Westaway, who is also Vice-President of Scouts Victoria, received the honour, Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia, for distinguished service to youth through Scouts at the national and international level, and to the community of Victoria.

Throughout his Scouting career Mr Westaway has held a number of significant positions at the World, National and Branch levels of Scouting, as well as achieving some significant awards, including the Bronze Wolf Award, the highest award in World Scouting.
