Clean Up Australia Day 2021 Badge Now Available

Clean Up Australia Day is on Sunday 7 March. This year we have an exciting new badge that combines the designs of two Scouts.

Congratulation to our badge design competition winners! Braxton is a Cub Scout in Charters Towers, Queensland and his idea was to make the badge in the shape of Australia. Kai is a Scout in Point Cook, Victoria and the selection panel have incorporated his image of a magpie putting a face mask into the bin.

Congratulations to our two winners who will each receive a sleeping bag donated by Snowgum for their design ideas.

The badges are now available from the Scout Shop. The cost is $2.50 each, with fifty cents from the sale of each badge going to Clean Up Australia.

Please register your group’s Clean Up Australia Day activity here.

The Plastic Tide Turners Challenge is part of Earth Tribe. Learning more about the role of plastic waste in the environment complements the action taken during Clean Up Australia Day. More information about Plastic Tide Turners can be found here.
