1st Willoughby Scout Group’s Three Sections Become Patrons of the Lord Baden-Powell Society
Finding themselves with surplus funds, the 1st Willoughby Scout Group has donated to the Lord Baden-Powell Society to help support fellow Scouts.
Over the years, the Lord Baden-Powell Society has received donations from great Benefactors, our loyal Members, Members of Parliament, Scout Groups all over Australia, and sometimes donations reach us from overseas, which is always nice to see.
It is with great pleasure that we announce that 1st Willoughby Scout Group in Sydney, having found themselves with some surplus funding, wanted to help young Scouts in financial difficulties enjoy Scouting activities by donating the the Lord Baden-Powell Society. Therefore, each Section decided to join as a Patron of the Society.

Congratulations to 1st Willoughby Scout Group’s Sections in joining the Society as Patron members. We hope that this news encourages other Scout Groups, who find themselves in a good financial position, to join as Donor Members of the Society, and to teach their young Scouts how important and beneficial it is to help those who need it most.
