Adventurous Activity Program and Qualifications

The National Adventurous Activity Coordinators are developing a range of folio documents (workbooks) to support members in obtaining qualifications in various Adventurous Activity areas. They can now be found in the Key Resources section of the scouts.com.au website or via this link.

These workbooks will assist members develop skills and knowledge and collect evidence to be recognised as a Safe Participant, Trained Participant, Activity Specialist, Assistant Guide or Guide. Youth members can also use the folios for evidence towards various Outdoor Adventure Skills (OAS) stages. They may also form part the evidence towards obtaining industry recognition though VET units when seeking RPL from Scouts Australia Institute of Training (SAIT) (RTO: 5443).

Currently we have most of the Safe Participant levels and several Trained Participant uploaded, with additions being added on a regular basis. Eventually there will be over 100 Folios covering the various activity areas. For further information on obtaining qualifications contact the AA Commissioner in your Branch.
