The Antarctica 2023 Explorers complete their Journey to the South Pole
After 66 days travelling across the Antarctic, Gareth and Richard have reached the South Pole.
Due to losing a week to weather conditions they were unable to complete the daily distance they needed for their planned expedition and were faced with the risk of running out of supplies to reach the Ross Ice Shelf. Gareth and Richard made the smart decision to end their expedition at the South Pole and now await extraction to a warmer climate.
