Applications are now open for the position of Deputy Contingent Leader for the 16th World Scout Moot in Portugal in 2025!
The role of Deputy Contingent Leader is a challenging and rewarding one. The Deputy Contingent Leader (DCL) role exists to support the Contingent Leader with the management of the Australian Contingent. Together you will be responsible for a Contingent of Scouting Members, as well as for the organisation of their travel itinerary and safety.
The Deputy Contingent Leader will work closely alongside the Contingent Leader to ensure the successful delivery of all aspects of the international event, with particular focus on the risk mitigation and financial security of the Contingent.
As a Deputy Contingent Leader, you form part of the Contingent Executive and work with the wider Contingent Management Team to manage the Contingent and to help tackle real business problems, as well as gaining exposure to the other parts of the World Scouting Movement. But most importantly, you will help us create the event of a lifetime for hundreds of Rover Scouts.
