The families, in some cases, are single-parents who are struggling to make ends meet each week. Their children, already actively involved with the local Scouts Groups, have been loyal Youth Members to Scouts Australia since a very young age. They have gone through their Sections, their link-badges on their uniform confirms this, and now find themselves at the Scout age-appropriate to finally attend the long-awaited scouting adventure of a lifetime, the Australian Jamboree.
The Lord Baden-Powell Society does NOT want to turn anyone away because we were created for the purpose of financially supporting those in need who desperately want to go to the Jamboree.
With AJ2025 fast approaching, this is our 2nd Appeal for this year and desperately need your help! We will be very grateful to receive your donations. Also, consider becoming a regular Donor Member, knowing that you are helping, and making that ‘someone’ happy in achieving their dream.
Donations can be easily made over the phone, or via direct deposit, or by filling-in a form (click on the button below) and emailing it back to us at lbps@scouts.com.au or at rita.cirardi@scouts.com.au.
