Scouts Australia Diversity and Inclusion Team

Scouts Australia Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Project Patrol

Scouts Australia has recently embarked on the development of its first National Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). We are looking for 8-10 members across the country to join a project patrol to lead the process of developing the RAP, with the guidance and support of the National Adviser Diversity and Inclusion and the National D&I Team.

We are looking for patrol members to commit to regular online meetings along with undertaking other tasks such as consulting with other Scouting members and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as the RAP is developed.  We anticipate the first draft RAP to be prepared by the end of 2024.

We are looking for representation across Branches in Australia and a mix of adult and youth representatives (Venturers and Rovers). Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and people with a background working with or engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are strongly encouraged to apply.

We may contact you for an informal discussion to further explore your suitability for the role if needed.

Please click button to submit your expression of interest by 28 June 2024. If you have any questions, please contact Clare Hanley, National Adviser Diversity and Inclusion at clare.hanley@scouts.com.au.
