National Alpine School 2024
Develop your Snow Shoe and Back Country Ski Skills
Registrations are now open for the 2024 National Alpine School, being run by New South Wales Branch this September at Scout NSW Alpine Centre Jindabyne.
National Alpine School to strengthen the Scouting Alpine Guiding community, through a collaborative learning approach. Broadening the alpine skill base, focusing on Backcountry Alpine Guide level skills (Snow Shoe and Back Country Ski).
This alpine training event will provide Leaders and Assistant Leaders with overnight snow camping experience. Interested trained participants , please contact Tony Cowcher via email on tony.cowcher@nsw.scouts.com.au to discuss.
Dates: Sat 14th Sep 2024 (3pm) to Sun 22nd Sep 2024 (10am)
Location: Scout NSW Alpine Centre Jindabyne
Cost: $150. (Alpine Centre camping fee)
Transport, Park entry, lift tickets, food, and gear hire are NOT included in the price.
