Celebrating 40 Years of the Lord Baden-Powell Society Supporting Australian Scouts to benefit from the joys of Scouting through your Financial Support.
For 40 years the Lord Baden-Powell Society (LBPS) has played an integral role in supporting Australian Scouts by providing financial support to ensure that young people across Australia have access to the invaluable experiences and joys that Scouting can bring.
The regular, generous donations from LBPS Donors help support funding to various major events, such as the Australian Jamboree, World Scout Jamboree and more, enabling young Scouts to develop leadership skills, resilience and a sense of community, while embracing adventure and camaraderie.
During 2023 and 2024, the Lord Baden-Powell Society distributed $245,500.00 and financially supported Australian Scouts attend events such as OneCamp (WA), WSJ2023, KISC100, Governor-General’s Camp 2024, as well as this year’s Australian Jamboree in Maryborough, Queensland.
Our sincere thanks of appreciation are extended to our financial Donors for their continued support whom without their help, we would have not been able to achieve our 40 years of funding support.
