The Lord Baden-Powell Society

Dear Lord Baden-Powell society,

I am so grateful to have been given the chance to attend the AJ 2025 in Maryborough Queensland. It was a great opportunity to meet new Scouts from around the world and other states and territories of Australia and swap badges with them. Some of the activities I enjoyed at AJ2025 were visiting Australia Zoo, walking through the mud during the ‘Your Challenge’ activity, visiting and looking around the town of Maryborough and going to Hervey Bay beach even though I got sunburnt.

I am so glad that I got an opportunity to participate in all the amazing activities that happened at AJ2025. Out of all the activities that happened at AJ2025 my favourite thing was visiting Australia zoo because I got the chance to interact and see so many different animals from all over the world that I wouldn’t normally see in Darwin. Those last ten days had to be the best ones of my life. Without the support of the Lord Baden-Powell Society, I may not have been able to attend.

Thank you again for giving me an opportunity to attend the Australian Jamboree of 2025 in Maryborough, Queensland.
