From 7th to 11th of May 2025, Kandersteg International Scout Centre hosted their very own JOTA-JOTI, a global digital event that aimed to bring the spirit of the Permanent Mini Jamboree, B.P.’s dream, to Scouts and Guides around the World. This event created a unique opportunity for young people from across the globe to experience the magic of daily life and activities at KISC.
This year’s edition brought together over 2,200 Scouts and Guides from around the world for five days of connection, learning, and international friendship.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in a variety of activities focused on the core themes of KISC: High Adventure, Eco Adventure, International Friendship, and the life surrounding the Centre.
More than 1,500 digital badges were awarded as Scouts completed challenges, participated in live sessions, and collaborated with young people worldwide. While the event was hosted online, it captured the unique spirit of KISC, as felt by the volunteers called Pinkies and every Scout who’s passed by the Chalet in Kandersteg.
KISC JOTA-JOTI 2025 empowered young people to connect across borders, celebrate diversity, and live out the values of Scouting, proving that even from home,Scouts can be united in creating a better world.
Our live sessions included stories from Australia, Brazil, and Kenya. JOTA-JOTI will return in October this year, and we encourage you to participate in this global opportunity to meet Scouts from around our world.
