The 31st Icelandic National Jamboree will bring together young people from across the globe for a week of adventure, friendship, and unforgettable experiences under the theme “Due North” – set against the dramatic landscapes of northern Iceland.
Participants will join Scouts from around the world in outdoor activities that build resilience, leadership, teamwork and cultural connection – from camp life and games to hikes, community visits, evening campfires, and more. The event is designed to challenge and inspire Scouts in a supportive and vibrant international community.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for youth members to represent Australia and experience scouting beyond our shores – forging lifelong friendships and broadening horizons in an incredible Arctic environment.
Participants will have the opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of Iceland during our pre and post-tours, including the city of Reykjavik and natural wonders such as the Gulfoss Waterfall, Þingvellir National Park, and Vatnajökull Glacier.
The Australian Contingent is open to Scouts and Venturer Scouts who will be aged 12-17 during the event dates. Places in the contingent are limited to 60 people, so we encourage interested members to apply early.
