Scouts Australia Institute of Training (SAIT)

RTO No. 5443

Looking at gaining new skills and progress in your Scouting journey? Did you know that you can now sign up for SAIT online and be paired with an accessor who will support you in achieving your chosen qualification?

How to Enrol

Enrolling online is straightforward and can be completed in just a few simple steps:

  1. Visit the SAIT website. Scroll to the Key Information and Resources section and select View Enrolment Information.
  2. Access the Online SAIT Enrolment Form. On the Enrolment Information page, you will find a range of useful student resources. To begin your enrolment, select the Online SAIT Enrolment Form and complete the required details.
  3. Create your aXcelerate account. Once submitted, an account will be created for you in aXcelerate, SAIT’s online learning management system. Assessors use this platform to review evidence and issue units.
  4. Activate your account. You will receive an email from aXcelerate with instructions to finalise your account setup. During this process, you will confirm the qualification you wish to undertake.
  5. Enrolment confirmation. Our SAIT Administrator will review your enrolment and will send you the relevant RPL assessment tool.
  6. Assessor Allocation

How to Enrol

The SAIT Administrator will then allocate you an assessor. You will receive contact from them with your assessor when they have been allocated.

If you require assistance at any stage, your allocated assessor should be your first point of contact. They are experienced volunteers and can provide advice tailored to your qualification and evidence.

Due to an influx of enrolments since we went online, adult members may not be allocated an assessor so promptly but they are able to email sait.enrolment@scouts.com.au with questions and will be put in touch with an assessor if they need help to get started.

Helpful Tips

  • For questions specifically about the enrolment process, contact the SAIT enrolment email address.
  • SAIT assessors are volunteers, so response times may vary.
  • If submitting evidence for a full qualification or multiple Units of Competency:
  1. Number each document clearly.
  2. List each item in the relevant section of the Assessment Tool.
  3. Organise documents into folders named for each Unit of Competency.
  4. Submit all folders together in a single ZIP file.
