National Rover Council (NRC)

Announcing the 2026 National Rover Council Executive

Scouts Australia is pleased to introduce the 2026 National Rover Council (NRC), elected at the February National Rover Council Conference. The NRC Executive is elected by Branch delegates each year and is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the NRC. This includes progressing Branch decisions, supporting the development and implementation of Rover Scout initiatives, and representing Rover Scouts nationally and internationally.

The core National Rover Council (NRC) Executive comprises the Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer, supported by standing Project Officers.

National Rover Council Executive Leadership

  • Brad Thompson (Tasmania) – Chair (Final year) 
  • Isabella Mairou (Northern Territory) – Deputy Chair
  • Luke Brydon (Tasmania) – Treasurer
  • Blade Puckeridge (New South Wales) – Secretary
  • Lachlan Wiltshire (New South Wales) – Events and Initiatives Officer
  • Alexander Morson (New South Wales) – Leadership and Development Officier

Supporting the Executive is Shaun Sandilands (Queensland), serving as the National Rover Council Advisor. All members have been elected to a 12‑month term concluding in early February 2027.
