Scouts Australia launches updated National Adventurous Activity Framework (NAAF)

A simpler and stronger future for Adventurous Activities

Scouts Australia is proud to announce the approval of the National Adventurous Activity Framework (NAAF) V12.1, which will supersede V11. This update marks a significant step forward in strengthening how Adventurous Activities are delivered to Scouts across the nation.

Built on the strong collaboration between our Youth Program and Adult Training & Development teams, the updated NAAF has been designed with a clear purpose: to make delivery of the youth program simpler, more consistent, and more impactful for volunteers and young people alike.
This update reflects a deliberate shift in approach, prioritising practical improvements that will immediately support volunteers to deliver high-quality, engaging programs with confidence.
