Your Step By Step SAIT Journey
For almost 30 years, Scouts Australia Institute of Training (RTO No. 5443) has been assisting Scouts Australia members through assessing their experiences into nationally recognised qualifications. More than 3,221 qualifications has been issued from the last five years (January 2021 – January 2026), opening doors to various opportunities for our members. Important Information
- During our review of your submission, you may be asked to submit additional evidence to ensure we meet the requirements of the units of competency.
- All our SAIT Assessors are volunteers. In some occassions, it may require extended time to review each submission. We appreciate your patience.

Preparing Your Submission
Once you submitted your enrolment, the next step is to provide evidences and information supporting your application. Below are some evidence samples for you to reference.
- Logbooks or personal reflections documenting your experiences
- Risk assessments or safety plans you have developed or implemented
- Photos or videos demonstrating practical skills (with appropriate permissions)
- Meeting minutes, reports, or documentation you have prepared
- Feedback from peers, supervisors, or participants
- Records of problem-solving or incident management in activities
- Certificates from external courses or workshops
- Previous Adult Training and Development course work
Please note that, in some cases, additional evidence may be requested by your assessor to ensure all requirements are met.
