Caitlin Arcus

Caitlin has been in Scouting since being a Cub Scout in 2001, continuing through to Rover Scouts and a range of leadership roles. Her wide experience includes Youth Empowerment, Event Health & Wellbeing, and local volunteering as a Scout Leader and now Rover Adviser.

Until June 2026, Caitlin was Deputy Chief Commissioner – Program Support in Scouts WA for six years, building a strong knowledge of the program, resource development and empowerment of both youth and adults.

Caitlin’s passion for Scouting has taken her interstate and around the world, including to World Moot in Iceland, Asia-Pacific Region and World Conferences, Scouts WA’s OneCamps, and Australian Jamborees. Outside of Scouting, Caitlin works in healthcare, is passionate about the environment and building community, and enjoys gardening and sport. She met her husband through Scouts, so they both enjoy camping and being in nature.

Caitlin is looking forward to continuing to volunteer in the Youth Program space, supporting Branch teams and volunteers at the grassroots to deliver fun, adventurous, inclusive and challenging programs to all youth members.

As Assistant National Commissioner Youth Program, Caitlin’s focus will be enabling program delivery by integrating program enhancements, support tools, and systems. She will play an integral role in the delivery of Key Move 1 of our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan.

Calling on experience, change management skills and a positive attitude, Caitlin is keen to take on the next adventure!
