Diploma of Outdoor Recreation

Most people completing specific adventurous activities courses in Scouting should enrol directly into that activity area using the Unit only Enrolment for Outdoor Recreation.

The Diploma of Outdoor Recreation is a nationally recognised qualification for planning, implementing and evaluating outdoor recreation programs and activities across a range of activity areas which include complex and non-routine situations. Work would be undertaken autonomously with responsibility for management, leadership of others and maintenance of resources. Work would be performed in and for field locations with varied contexts requiring contingency planning.
