Certificate II in Creative Industries

The Certificate II in Creative Industries is a nationally recognised qualification which reflects the role of individuals with the skills and knowledge to perform in a range of varied activities in the creative industries where there is a clearly defined range of contexts. Activities are of limited complexity with required actions clearly defined.
The defined learning pathways in Scouts Australia are aligned to participation in either Gang Show or Showtime. This participation can be in a variety of roles which provide learning and experiences that align closely and will provide most of your evidence towards meeting the requirements of the Certificate II in Creative Industries. Some commonly used elective options are aligned to common roles;
  • Performers
  • Front-of-House
  • Sound and Lighting
  • Costuming
  • Staging
After enrolling you will;
  1. Need to provide copies of the evidence that you are using for your recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessment.
  2. After evidence is provided an Assessor will be assigned who will assess your evidence and work with you to address any gaps against the requirements of the qualification.
