Child Safety Commissioner Vacancy

Applications are requested from Adult members for a new volunteer role as the Scouts Australia Child Safety Commissioner.
Reporting to the Chief Commissioner of Scouts Australia and working closely with the National Coordinator (Redress) and the Chair (National Risk Management Committee), the Child Safety Commissioner will maintain the National Child Protection Policy, ensuring that its design and content is contemporary to the needs of governments, community, and the broader requirements of Scouting and that its implementation by Branches is monitored and supported.
Interested individuals should provide a cover letter and a resume, outlining relevant skills, knowledge, experience, and qualifications.
Contact details of Scouting and professional referees should be included. Shortlisted applicants will require the support of their respective Branch Chief Commissioner.
