Fees
Applications for the contingent are open from August 1st 2024 to September 21st 2024 or until all availiable positions are filled. The OLEMS registration system is used to submit applications including providing information about health and wellbeing, payment and other necessary information.

An application is not considered complete until the authority is signed in your application form and your deposit has been received.
Inclusions and Exclusions
Included in contingent cost:
- The Contingent Fee includes all meals, accommodation, activities, and ground transportation from the meeting time and location on July 24th 2025 (evening on July 23rd 2025 for IST) in Lisbon and August 4th 2025 in Porto.
- Contingent Kit – two Scouts Australia Scarfs and Name Badge
- Contingent Merchandise items
- Scouts Australia Travel Insurance
- Health and Wellbeing Support
The Pre-Tour Cost includes all accommodation, 10 breakfasts and 2 dinners, activities, and transport. The starting point will be in Barcelona and the end point will be in Lisbon.
The Post-Tour cost includes all accommodation, 9 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 5 dinners, activities and transport including flights from Portugal to Morocco. The starting point will be in Porto and the end point will be in Casablanca.
Not included in contingent cost:
- obtaining a passport if you do not already have one;
- Any visa costs that might be applicable based on your passport’s country of issue (Australians do not need a visa);
- Any spending money for souvenirs or incidental items (you will not need much);
- Clothing and other gear requirements outlined by the CMT and/or the organizers including tent;
- Transport to/from the airport from the start/end of the main moot event/pre-tour;
- Any additional optional activities; and
- Return flights to Australia: This is a self-travel event. It is your own personal responsibility to get yourself to the meeting point and from the departure point.

Refund Policy
Members withdrawing from the Contingent must notify the Contingent Leader in writing as soon as possible. Since many expenses must be paid well before our departure, it is not possible to provide full refunds upon withdrawal. The following table highlights the amount of any refund payable.
