Every three years, the Australian Jamboree brings together thousands of Scouts from across the country and beyond. For one Venturer Scout, the opportunity to attend AJ2025 was more than just a camping trip. It was an adventure that inspired confidence, forged lifelong friendships, and created lasting memories.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the LBPS Jamboree Appeal raised $120,000, enabling 135 Scouts from around Australia to attend AJ2025. These funds directly supported young people whose families were experiencing financial hardship – ensuring no Scout missed out due to cost.

Empowering the Future of Scouting

The LBPS is the National donor society within Scouts Australia, and we proudly lead fundraising efforts for major youth events such as the Australian Jamboree, Australian Venture, and the World Scout Jamboree. These experiences are cornerstones of the Scouting journey, offering young people opportunities to grow through challenge, community, and connection.

The amount of funding available for each event depends on the success of our appeals. With AJ2025 now concluded, our focus shifts to the 27th Australian Jamboree (AJ2028), set to be held in Victoria.

Our fundraising target is $150,000 by December 2027 – a goal we can reach together with your continued support.
