Celebrating the Wood Badge Centenary
In 2019, we celebrate 100 years of the Wood Badge! Take a look at the resources that help highlight the history of the framework.
To support the Wood Badge Centenary, the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) have developed a series of online resources available at scout.org/WoodBadge100. The package includes an inventory of activities to promote the Wood Badge framework, a section to highlight the history of the Wood Badge training, and the meaning behind its insignia.
Members from around the world are invited to participate in a virtual campfire that will be held on 17 January 2019. This is your chance to share ideas on ways to promote and celebrate the centenary. If you’re interested, click here to save your spot around the campfire.
