Scouts Thankful For AV2018 Funding
Lord Baden-Powell Society providing invaluable opportunities

Participating in a major event like AV2018, presents many opportunities, experiences and challenges. To ensure the maximum number of youth members can access these life changing benefits, the Lord Baden-Powell Society and its generous supporters provide financial support to members who may face barriers to participation.
Of the hundreds of Scouts at the 17th Australian Venture, AV2018, the Lord Baden-Powell Society provided financial support to a number of young people to ensure they could experience the adventure.

“Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this camp. It was the longest that I had ever been away from home, I loved every activity that I did on this Venture. It may be my last one and if it is, it was definitely worth the wait and I thank the Lord Baden Powell Scout Society for funding me to be able to have gone on this camp, I cannot express how happy I am because I owe you and my mum who made it possible for me to have gone on this camp, and I will remember it because of it.
