This summer, thousands of young people will travel away from home on life changing adventures to AJ2019, NZV2019 and more to soak up the summer holidays.
The Opening Ceremony for AJ2019 is only a few days away. Preparations are in full swing, with The Bend Motorsport Park quickly transforming into a small city. Scouts will begin arriving onsite from the 4th January, with the Opening Ceremony and launch of our new image being live streamed that evening.
For two weeks, over 10,000 participants will enjoy activities spread around South Australia, from Woodhouse Activity Centre, Adelaide city, and on the Jamboree site. We’ll be sharing their adventures on our social media channels and the AJ2019 Facebook Page.
Registrations to experience the Jamboree on Celebration Day are still open – Register Here.
Bob Bramley plans to become the youngest person to circumnavigate Australia solo by plane. The 16-year-old Scout will use his world record attempt to raise awareness about youth suicide prevention by working with Beyond Blue.
Bob almost lost two of his close friends to suicide in late 2017 and hopes to promote positive discussions about mental health as he flies to communities across Australia.
