When international travel resumes, Scouts will again be experiencing unique cultures, activities and friendships abroad. On their return, they could achieve the International Ambassador Badge by sharing their enthusiasm for international Scouting.
Whilst international borders may remain closed for now, we are pleased to announce the new International Ambassador Badge has been released in readiness for all future overseas travellers. The International Ambassador Badge replaces the old International Explorer Belt.
The badge is achieved by any member that travels overseas as part of an official Australian Contingent, Branch Friendship Tour or International Letter of Introduction. (NB. Previous International Scouting travel does NOT qualify for the badge.)
Upon returning from overseas, simply deliver a report or presentation of your experience to other members of your Unit, Scout Group or local community and you qualify to wear the badge.
The badge is automatically issued to eligible members and is worn on the uniform with other Additional Award Badges.
Contact your Branch International Commissioner if you have any questions about future International Scouting opportunities.
