As Australia’s Regional Youth Representative, you’ll collaborate with Scouts from across the Asia-Pacific Region to enhance communications, networks and youth involvement for the benefit of young people in Scouting.
Be involved with International Scouting as Australia’s next Regional Youth Representative!
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Rover Scout or young leader to attend the 10th Asia-Pacific Region Scout Youth Forum in February 2022 and to represent Australia as a candidate to an Asia-Pacific Regional Sub-Committee for the 2022-2025 triennium.
The aim of this initiative is to enhance communications and networking between National Scout Organisations (NSOs) within the Asia-Pacific Region (APR) – especially their young adult members – and foster a culture of Youth Involvement in Scouting.
The role of Regional Youth Representative is a significant time commitment and applicants will need to demonstrate a strong willingness to engage in challenging and diverse governance processes.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview. All expressions of interest are held in the strictest of confidence. Applications are submitted online and close 5pm AEDT on 31 October 2021.
