School and Qualifications from Scouting
Venturer Scouts may be eligible to earn industry recognised VET qualifications with Scouting and have them included on their Secondary School Certificate of Completion.
Last month there was a lot of interest from Venturer Scouts about completing qualifications through Scouting as a part of their schooling and now there is even more information available online here.
In 2021 a number of Venturer Scouts from around the country completed Certificate II or Certificate III qualifications with the Scouts Australia Institute of Training (RTO 5443) which they had included on their Secondary School Certificate of Completion (HSC, VCE, etc.).
Some Venturer Scouts included their qualification from Scouts as one of their nominated school subject selections, many included it as an additional item and many more Venturer Scouts completed qualifications without connecting it to their schooling.
