Jamboree Appeal 2028
The 27th Australian Jamboree (AJ2028) will be held in Elmore, Victoria, from December 28, 2027, to January 6, 2028. This major youth-led event brings Scouts and Venturer Scouts together for ten-day of fun activities and camping.
The Lord Baden Powell Society (LBPS) is the donor society within Scouts Australia which conducts fundraising through its Jamboree appeals to support these youth members attend events such as AJ2028.
The amount of money distributed to each Scout or Venturer Scout who needs it, depends on the success of the Jamboree Appeal.
All money raised in the Jamboree Appeal is distributed to these young people, who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the life enhancing skills and camaraderie of a national Scout Jamboree, via their State Branches.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and other contributors to the Jamboree Appeal, the LBPS was able to distribute $120,000 to the Australian Jamboree 2025 (AJ2025).
With the continued rise in cost-of-living, donations are falling behind in many not-for-profit organisations, and this is why our appeal today is more important than ever.
