Jamboree Appeal 2028
The 27th Australian Jamboree (AJ2028) will be held in Elmore, Victoria, from December 28, 2027, to January 6, 2028. This major youth-led event brings Scouts and Venturer Scouts together for ten-day of fun activities and camping.
The Lord Baden Powell Society (LBPS) is the donor society within Scouts Australia which conducts fundraising through its Jamboree appeals to support these youth members attend events such as AJ2028.
The amount of money distributed to each Scouts or Venturer Scouts who mostly needs it, depends on the success of the Jamboree Appeal.
All money raised in the Jamboree Appeal is distributed to these young people via their State Branches, who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the life enhancing skills and camaraderie of a national Scout Jamboree.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and other contributors to the Jamboree Appeal, that the LBPS was able to distribute $120,000 to the Australian Jamboree 2025 (AJ2025) after having achieved our goal.
With the continued cost-of-living, donations are falling behind with many not-for-profit organisations, and this is why our appeal today is more important than ever.
Help us achieve our new intended goal of $150,000 so that more young Scouts and Venturer Scouts can benefit from the life-changing events that this wonderful organisation puts together.
