Marketing & Communications Manager Vacancy

With a colourful new brand, an exciting new youth program, and a revamped sense of purpose, now is the time to capitalise on these changes and make your mark for our iconic youth organisation.

Would you like the opportunity to guide our iconic brand through its next evolution?

Scouts Australia is the National peak body that represents Scouting in Australia and provides support via the States to over 70,000 members nationwide. As one of the leading youth organisations in Australia, this is a unique and rewarding opportunity.

With a colourful new brand, an exciting new youth program, and a revamped sense of purpose, now is the time to capitalise on these changes and make your mark.

This role will suit an “all-rounder”, as you will be involved in all aspects of the marketing & communications function, including branding and product development, our online Scout Shop, and our ever-expanding digital and social media requirements. You will be leading a small but dedicated team who are passionate about they do, and interacting with our Branches, committees, and our youth members, so you need to enjoy meeting with people.

We are looking for someone who has relevant tertiary qualifications and has had at least of 5 years work experience post-graduation. Previous experience in a Not-for-Profit organisation working with volunteers or Scouting would be viewed favourably but is not essential. You will need to be a problem solver, who can collaborate to determine the best way ahead.

We are so focused on finding the right person that we are very flexible on working hours and conditions – full or part time, with flexible start and finish times and the ability to work from home at times, allowing the role to fit around your personal life. It is the outcomes that are important for us!

An Information Pack is available by emailing ea@scouts.com.au, and applications will close Friday 13th March 2020.

Scouts Australia is a Child Safe Organisation. All successful applicants will need to undergo a National Police Criminal History Check, and hold NSW – New Working with Children Check.
