Welcome to the official website for
the Australian Contingent to KISC100!
The Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) is located in the heart of Switzerland and opened to Scouts around the world in 1923.
To celebrate their centenary in 2023, Scouts Australia are sending a Contingent to KISC to experience this Permanent Mini Jamboree. From July 1 to July 13 Scouts from across Australia will be exploring this incredible hub of international Scouting.
From the moment you step into Kandersteg, 1,200m above sea level, you know you’re somewhere special. Close to nature and away from the distractions of every day life, you’ll find nowhere else like Kandersteg. That’s why Baden-Powell chose here. A place where you can pitch your tent under the stars, climb mountains with your friends, paddle across lakes and enjoy stunning sunsets at the end of each day.
