Our target for this Contingent is to be the largest contingent ever to a World Scout Jamboree from Australia. Therefore we have picked 16 Troops as our goal, this means 576 Youth and 138 Leaders, IST and CMT. To help us reach this goal we need your help, so we have decided to reward you in a small way, by giving you additional badges to swap, if you encourage your friends from your Group to join us in Korea in 2023.
The way that this will work is if your group has five participants (youth and/or adults) we will give each participant from your group 2 additional badges and so on based on the following table:
Participants per Group | Badges per Participant | |
---|---|---|
5 | 2 | |
10 | 4 | |
15 | 6 | |
20 | 8 |
Congratulations to the following Groups who have all currently got at least two additional badges per participant!
Group | Branch | Participants | |
---|---|---|---|
1st Blackheath Scout Group | NSW | 11 | |
Brookvale/Curl Curl Scout Group | NSW | 8 | |
Albany Creek Scout Group | Qld | 6 | |
1st Oak Park | Vic | 6 | |
1st/14th Brighton | Vic | 5 | |

1st Woollahra/Paddington Scout Group | NSW | 5 | |

We will update the above table each month, so make sure you are out there being a champion for the World Scout Jamboree and your Group.
