Youth Participants
- Born between 13 August 2005 and 1 August 2009 inclusive (i.e. minimum age 14 years and not have had your 18th Birthday).
- An invested Scout or Venturer Scout and have completed Outdoor Adventure Skills Camping Stage 4 prior to departure.
- Due to the expansive nature of the site, a good level of fitness is required. It is expected on most days that participants will need to walk between 10kms per day.
- Must be recommended as suitable to attend by your Scout/Venturer Leader and Group Leader and endorsed by your Branch Headquarters.
Adult Line Leaders
- Be a registered member of your Branch as either a Rover or an Adult Leader.
- Must be recommended as suitable to attend by your Group Leader or next appropriate level of Commissioner, your Region/District Commissioner, and be endorsed by your Branch Headquarters.
- Due to the expansive nature of the site, a good level of fitness is required. It is expected on most days that participants will need to walk between 10kms per day.
- To be selected as a Line Leader you should have demonstrated experience with the Scout/Venturer section age group and ideally have past Jamboree/Venture experience.
- Line Leaders will be selected by the Contingent, based on their previous experience, their ability to work with Scout/Venturer aged youth and their ability to run a successful Jamboree Troop.
International Service Team (IST)
- Be a registered member of your Branch as a Rover, an Adult Leader, or an Adult Supporter.
- Must be recommended as suitable to attend by your Group Leader or next appropriate level of Commissioner, your Region/District Commissioner, and be endorsed by your Branch Headquarters.
- Due to the expansive nature of the site, a good level of fitness is required. It is expected on most days that participants will need to walk between 10kms per day.
- IST Members who are qualified in particular Adventurous Activities will be highly regarded by the Jamboree Committee.
- IST Members approved by the Contingent may not necessarily be approved to attend the Jamboree by the Jamboree Organising Committee where a suitable role is not found.
- IST Members will be selected to meet the required quotas as prescribed by the Jamboree Organising Committee.
