Extending Your Adventure - Join Our Post Tour
As you may have seen on our Social Media, the Contingent is also offering an optional post-tour in South Korea so you can really make the most of your time away. The optional post-tour is based in Jeollabuk-do, which is a Province just east of where we will be for the 25th World Scout Jamboree and will sure encounter Endless Fun!

12 – 16 August 2023 (4 extra Nights and 5 Days)
Cost
$845 (includes all activities and accommodation) for 5 days of fun!
The Plan
Below are some of the activities which the Post-Tour may include day by day;
- Day 1: Sunyu-do Island Zip-line Experience
- Day 2: Survival Experience, Jeollabuk-do Shooting Range, National Archery Range
- Day 3: Geun River Rafting, ATV Experience, Horse Riding Experience
- Day 4: Everland or Lotte World/Namsan Tower or Lotte World Tower (The Contingent will select the option closer to the Post-Tour)
- Day 5: Gyeongbokgung, Blue House and Head to Airport
You will have the chance to experience some of the above activities, we are still negotiating the final look of the Post-Jamboree experience.
Applying
Places are limited to 320 and post-tour registration will open at 8 pm AEST 4 May 2022 (that’s 8 pm VIC, NSW, QLD, TAS time, 6 pm WA and 7:30 pm SA & NT).
To secure a place, at 8 pm AEDT on the 4 May 2022 you need to:
- Log back into the registration system – http://registrations.international.scouts.com.au/
- Go to the travel details page and select “Yes” to the post-tour
- Once that’s done, pay the post-tour deposit of $420 straight away or by 15 May 2022. Until you have paid your deposit for the Post-Tour your application is not considered complete. Please note this deposit is non-refundable.
Post-tour applications will close once we reach 320 applications or 15 May 2022 whichever comes first.
