Completing qualifications

All adult members of Scouts Australia have access to the full range of qualifications that are available from the Scouts Australia Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Completing qualifications through the Scouts Australia RTO is not the same as attending TAFE or other RTOs because the Scouts Australia RTO relies significantly on experiential learning versus the alternate classroom model. This means that by supporting Scouting as a volunteer and engaging in both leader training and the activities you enjoy, you will experience things that help you learn and this learning can be recognised with qualifications.
